02.古漢祥 生命劇本 Calvin Koo Family of 6 brothers and sisters being the youngest boy and have a youngest sister. Age 7 Started primary education. Never really like studying because I was forced to sit in a classroom since 4 years old. Because my father was a headmaster of the Chinese Primary School . Was weak and thin till the age of 10. 12 Always very happy and excited alone and day dreaming all the time to have learned how to swim. Was drown but did not give-up swimming. 18 On my 18th birthday, my father gave me money to take-up car driving as a gift. Was very happy and grateful. Few months later, had a car accident, not serious and did not get scolding from other. 19 Left school on my own decision and started my hairdressing career in my sister’s salon in Singapore. 20 Took up a 9 months comprehensive course in hair-cutting in London Vidal Sasson. Arrived in London but the person who was supposed to meet me did not turn-up. I was not afraid and find my own way to his house. 22 I started my first salon in Ipoh. Because famous within months and made a lots of money.
24 Due to breaking-up of relationship with my first girl friend, I lost my concentration in my business. 25 Become an Amway Distributor. I was very motivated and beginning to have a dream. 39 Broke-up with girl friend in England and return to Malaysia to look after my 85 years old father. He died the same year due to weak heart. 39-45 Worked for 2 hair-dressing product distribution company. Started as a sales-man. Three months later, I was offered another job as a business development manager. Later promoted to sales manager. During this time, I was sent to Italy and Spain to get more technical training. My technical and management has increased tremendously over these 6-7 years. 46 Was offered a business partnership by Tan Kean Leong distributing Davines products from Italy. Meet Cindy and was very attracted by her strong character, kindness and hard-working nature. Most of all her unwavering faith in Lord Jesus. It is because of her I join Tan in the business venture. The business was called Ever Top Link and changed to Colinno Hair Cosmetic Sdn Bhd. 47-48 The business was doing well and created jealousy among competitors. Tan’s ex-boss using un-ethical ways, took over the Davines sole agency from Tan. We were very sad and angry. We decided to create our own brand of professional hair products. We have the courage to create the first Malaysia Professional Hair Color. 49 Financially we were very weak. Fortunately, we had a friend who was willing Attended Life Rehearsal 1 and 2 to support us financially. 50 Colinno achieved a turnover of RM2 million. Expended and exported to 3 countries. 52 Colinno achieved a turnover of RM10 million. Exporting to 10 countries. 54 Colinno achieved a turnover of 100million. Exporting to 50 countries. Employing more than 50 employees. 55 Colinno is list in the stock exchange. Taking the whole family to Disney Land, USA. Eldest son, Jonathan getting married with a lovely girl . 60 Marco enter university. 66 Marco graduated as a doctor. 69 Family going round the world for 60 days.
03.岑麗姖 生命劇本 Cindy When I’m seven years old, my family is very poor. In my first day of school my mum took me to school by bus. From standard 1 to standard 6, I was not happy at all. I have to do my homework late night because I have to help my family to earn money for food. I tell myself, I don’t want to be poor when I grow up. I tell myself people can look down on me, but I can’t look down on myself. I must be strong and brave, because I have to look after my family, brother and sister. Because my mum is a housewife and my father is sick. Because my family is poor so I know education is so important, is a way out for me, is so hard for a girl like me to finish form 5. I have to do a lot of part time job just to keep myself in school.
